It all started when…

I was a young girl growing up in rural Southern Oregon. I remember my parents being in the kitchen for every meal, prepping and cooking and always having some kind of delicious treat in the works. It wasn’t always fancy in-fact, most often it was down home; simple and fresh comfort foods.

My mom always included me and encouraged my help in the kitchen, with whatever she was cooking up. It wasn’t until I reached my adolescence though, that I really started to appreciate the art of cooking. Before I knew it, I had become enthralled with the endless creativity and presentations. I’ve always loved making a piece of art through plating and design and truly love working with all different kinds of vegetables, grains, legumes, herbs and spices to create different textures, flavors and of course; visually appealing works of art.

I have worked in the food + hospitality industry since graduating highschool at 18. I went straight to Western Culinary Institute where I studied with some of the best chefs in the country at Le Cordon Bleu School Of Culinary Arts. From there I have worked in several mom and pop restaurants as well as high-end, five star resorts and hotels.

I began my work as a private chef when I moved to the Central California Coast. I began aligning my culinary craft with my love for people and being of service. I find a great sense of purpose and passion when I am able to contribute to the betterment of my community and loved ones, through food + wellness. I developed a weekly meal preparation program for local families and catered one-off dinners, luncheons, parties and private events.

In recent years I have worked for high-profile clientele in a number of settings, within an array of dietary needs, preferences and styles. I have worked extensively in the home as well as accompanied my clients on their travels, near and far.

I am grateful and honored to continue this work in hopes it may bring nourishment, joy and WELLTH™ to your daily life.
